It's a time to be creative, with an endless number of options our clothing can take us. When we're considering sustainable clothing however, you may heard many fashion blogs and influencers using the term 'capsule wardrobe'. It’s an exciting premise that is also a great step for those interested in sustainable clothing. 

A capsule wardrobe is a limited selection of interchangeable clothing pieces that complement each other. These are often classic pieces that do not go out of style and are primarily composed of neutral colours, which is exactly what TWAN is all about. 

The point of a capsule collection is to be able to mix and match the pieces in different ways, to create numerous outfits that look and feel amazing, even with a small selection of clothes. We’re so accustomed to buying so much clothing that we throw it out as soon as we get bored of it. At TWAN, we know that this is not an eco-friendly choice. An exciting skill to master is the art of styling and restyling our wardrobes in fun new ways. 

Versatility is super important when it comes to creating a capsule wardrobe which we won’t get bored of, and this is what was so important when designing our latest collection of eco-friendly clothing. 

If you’re buying a piece from our new collection, there are definitely no rules to say it must be worn with it’s matching set. Why not try mixing it with other pieces in your wardrobe? Whether it’s a hoodie or a t-shirt, you can easily find new ways to spruce up each outfit which not only gives our pieces more wearability, but also adds a unique and individual spin to each item. During our shoot, we mixed in some of our older pieces to give you some ideas.
